Using the chain guide?
I want to know if I can put a Blackspire NS-1 chain guide on my GT iDrive 4 5.0?
Hey Phil, yes, you can install the NS-1 on your GT I-Drive 4 5.0, but you'll need a small spacer on the lower leg that fits between the NS-1 Y-plate or Boomerang and the bottom bracket. The spaces Y-plate away from the shell of I-Records, so that the Y-plate will not rub against the I-Drive shell or a housing area during suspension movement. You will only need a small spacer for the BB system. I installed a few weeks ago on my friends I-Drive. Hope this helps. =)
