Rock Shox

I want to upgrade my mtn bike w/ rock shox, how do I measure to get the right size to add front suspension?

I have a 15 year old Mongoose IBOC

Honestly, I'd suggest getting a new bike instead of buying a front fork and paying for its install (or spending your time in installing it). This is probably the best course of action given the age of your bike. A good fork runs in the several hundreds of dollars and putting that onto an old bike seems like an expensive proposition when the frame and other components on your 15 year old bike may not stand the test of time for much longer. If you spend just a bit more, you can get the nice, new fork plus an all new bike with decent components. Look at Giant and Gary Fisher models that go for around $400. The Giant Rincon is a good one. Gary Fisher Tarpon perhaps.

I can understand, however, if you're attached to your trusty bike. In which case, I'm sure someone can tell you about the dimensions of the head tube for installing a new fork.
